Maxime Denuc is a French composer based in Brussels, whose work explores the expressive and technological possibilities of the pipe organ. Since 2020, he has focused on developing new compositional languages for the instrument, both through live performance and machine-based interpretation.

His piece Solarium (2020), interpreted by Cindy Castillo, uses sunrise as a structural and affective frame, while Nachthorn (2022), written for MIDI-controlled organ, extends this practice into more abstract territory. The latter was named one of Boomkat's Albums of the Year. Denuc has since collaborated with Belgian engineers from Bots Conspiracy and Shakmat to build robotic systems capable of automating any church organ, enabling performances in contexts previously inaccessible to the instrument.

In 2026, he releases Club Imperiale on light-years, a double LP that reinterprets early trance music through pipe organ performance and spatial acoustics.

Denuc also works in installation, notably Elevations, created with visual artist Kris Verdonck around a custom-built Decap organ, which was presented at the Biennale Musica Venice 2025. His work has been presented at festivals such as Rewire, Intonal, Meakusma, and Elevate. He holds a Master's degree from EHESS, specialising in Music.
